This is from a very emotional song that exploits the volatility of the human state. Life is tough every single day for some of us here on the earth. In Brazil most people turn to God, which is a strength of their nation. However, if faith becomes acquiescence then nothing will ever change; and God created men and women so that they might change for the better.
So if you're feeling defeated lift your head up. Look to Deity for guidance then get at it. Don't wait for answers from God, find answers from God in the midst of your work. Good luck in your job search or in whatever this might inspire you.
