The Do NOT put company specific job titles on your resume! guy got hired. I think this is really important to note that sometimes great people miss out on great opportunities because their resume is just a little off target.
Even though this guy was a rockstar, had he and I not collaborated the way we did on his resume it most likely would have been dismissed by the interviewer. It's great to know that our efforts overcame a barrier to get him to the next step so he could get the job.
Moral of the story: even rockstars can use a hand.
