"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo da VinciWhen you are in an interview make sure your answers are simple and straight forward. Simplicity has power. Deliver it calmly and it builds trust and confidence in you. Sure everyone gets nervous, but as you gain more and more experience you should be calm and simple. That is usually the mark of an experienced professional.
After reading this quote, I immediately thought of my current CEO Mike Mann. He is always telling us to keep things "cool and simple." I take that seriously because he has made millions based on his business philosophies and best practices.
The more you think about it though, it makes sense. The way to win over more people is to keep things simple and cool. If you bombard others with too much information they lose direction or just get confused or both. Sell yourself to get the job by approaching the interview cool and simple.
