"When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world." - George Washington CarverFamous African American Scientist, mostly in the Agricultural field. This is truly a great quote. It reminds me of Richard King's (Rotary International President Emeritus) popular talk about the uncommon man.
You don't necessarily need to be the smartest, the best or have the most to stand out from the crowd. If you can do things in a way that is fresh, new and unlike it's ever been done before you can be successful. If you are looking for a job, find a new way to locate good opportunities or find a new way to present your story to get the job. Be the uncommon man, because everyone wants and needs that man. You can be that man.
